Kim recalled that when she was 21 and going through her first divorce, she had no money to start fresh. That’s when a young Khloé, just 4 or 5 years old, came to the rescue—offering Kim her life savings from a giant Coke bottle-shaped piggy bank.

“When I was getting my first divorce, I moved out, and I had no money,” Kim shared. “She was like, ‘Here, you can have my Coke bottle.’”

The sisters stayed up all night counting the $6,000 inside, which was just enough for Kim’s apartment deposit and first month’s rent.

More than two decades later, Kim found the exact same Coke bottle piggy bank and filled it up as a heartfelt way to thank Khloé.

“For [Khloé’s] birthday, I found the same Coke bottle piggy bank, and I filled it up, and I was like, ‘Thank you,’” Kim said. “She couldn’t believe I remembered.”

The moment was a full-circle gesture in a family that has since gone from counting pennies to building billion-dollar empires.

Kim’s first marriage to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 ended in divorce after three years. She later claimed she had eloped while high on ecstasy, though Thomas denied the allegations, calling their relationship “young love.”

Reflecting on their tumultuous relationship in a July 2023 episode of “The Kardashians,” Kim admitted it was difficult watching someone she once loved change so drastically.

“I used to run around and call everyone behind his back, saying, ‘It’s gonna be OK, just give him another chance.’” She then confessed, “I just don’t have that energy anymore.”
