Taylor Swift stunned in a white minidress as she stepped out for a bite to eat earlier this week while in New York City. The 36-year-old, who has been making headlines as she plans her July wedding to fiancé Travis Kelce, looked incredible in a leggy look last night, when she was spotted making her way to NYC’s Via Carota restaurant. Clearly in the mood for Italian as she dressed up for her soiree, Taylor showed off her long legs in a flirty, pleated skirt and turtleneck forming a dress, adding heels while channeling a classy, girly aesthetic. While many praised the Grammy winner’s style, others questioned it. One even thought that Taylor was nuts for wearing white to an Italian eatery.

Dining out with close friend Ashley Avignone, Taylor looked in good spirits as she was seen smiling slightly while wearing her hair loosely tied back and styled into bangs. The billionaire pop star also wore diamond stud earrings and matte makeup, completing her glam with her trademark red lipstick.

“Bride of the Millennium,” one fan gushed. Another, however, queried Taylor’s fashion choice, asking: “A white dress to an Italian restaurant, is she nuts.” For her night out, Taylor Swift went relatively affordable in a Retrofete minidress retailing for $217. Her $4,000 Gucci bag and $900+ heels were another story, though. Swift made 2025 headlines for stepping out in a series of high-profile Gucci looks, prompting rumors that she was being paid by the Italian designer to appear in its monogrammed apparel. Taylor is not known to have a deal with Gucci.

Talk right now is all about Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding to NFL player Travis Kelce. The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 and are reportedly due to tie the knot on July 3 in New York City.
